Various professional credits, previous employers, etc. can be found over at LinkedIn, which seems to be the place for such things, but in short Geoffrey has written quite a lot of:
- Government and budget policy
- Political communications and public relations
- Longform data analysis and oversight reporting
- “Content” in that heady, early-2000s-internet sense of the word, when people just filled blog post after blog post with stuff intended to fulfill search results, get eyeballs on pages, and occasionally even sell a product or two, although to be honest the pageviews seemed to be the entire product for a lot of those websites
What Geoffrey likes to write in his own time is fiction, including SFF, historical fiction, and stuff with lots of kissing, especially the kind of kissing where other people think the people kissing shouldn’t be kissing but they do it anyway. (And frequently all of the above at once, because genre is made up and you can make things up, too.)
Absolutely none of the writing you find here or anywhere else under Geoffrey’s name will have used generative AI or similar “tools” in any way, at any point in the process, because he has some goddamn self-respect.
